Employee Scheduling
  • Based on a simple “block” structure.
  • Easily schedules a departmental shift.
  • Shifts are linked to schedule a day.
  • Days are linked to schedule pay periods.
  • Pay periods are linked to schedule larger blocks of time.
  • Individual departments are then edited as required for specific days or pay periods.
34
What is a “Block”
  • A “Block” provides the ability to define an employee resource for a defined period of time.
  • It contains:
    • Start / Stop Date
    • Start / Stop Time
    • Department
    • Employee number and name
  • Once a “Block” is define the Department can be scheduled.

35
Departmental Schedule
  • A Departmental Schedule will then plug individual blocks into shifts until the proper number of people are scheduled for each shift.
  • Once all shifts are complete for all departments, the day has been scheduled.
  • These Daily Schedules can then be copied throughout the pay period to complete scheduling for that pay period.
  • These pay periods can then be duplicated to schedule any desired range of days.

36
Schedule Reports
  • The reports are designed to mirror our Activity and Productive/Non-Productive reports.
  • Facility and Departmental Managers are be able to look at the schedules for employees, departments, departmental groups or the entire facility.
  • Hours work and projected Productive/Non-Productive hours are easily available.
  • Variance reports clearly show the differences between actual hours worked and the scheduled hours.
  • This provides managers the ability to continually refine their scheduling process and to pin-point areas of the facility where labor issues are cropping up.

Payroll Powered by
Red Wing Software
  • CenterPoint Payroll for Healthcare Option Experience and Expertise - Red Wing Software, Inc. has been developing payroll and accounting software since 1979. Their  experience in developing software and supporting their payroll customers has provided us the expertise necessary to provide a software option that is easy to use for a beginner, and elaborate enough to handle the widest variety of needs.

  •  Paying Employees has Never Been so Easy - Paying your employees becomes an easy process in CenterPoint Payroll for Healthcare. Choose to enter detailed timesheets, or easily enter details by using pay defaults or pull hours directly from the Keller time system. Select salaried employees separate from hourly employees or select only employees with time clock entries or select only those employees paid bi-weekly versus weekly. Save time by copying a previous pay run and using it as a starting point for a current pay run. You can even have more than one pay run in process at the same time, allowing, for example, pay runs for separate departments. With CenterPoint Payroll, paying employees becomes a simplified process, making pay day a lot less stressful for you!
38
Payroll Interface Files
  • Interface Files  -   For those prospective customers that already have a payroll system they are satisfied with, Keller has an interface for you.  Over the past 20 years, Keller has interfaces to a number of different payroll vendors. These Dairyland, Ceridian, Melyx, Meditec, HIS, APD, Achieve as well as individual county and state payroll systems. In the event an interface does not exist, we will be more than happy to create an interface specifically for your application.
39
Dashboard
  • Our Dashboard is a web based graphical tool.
  • It is designed to provide easy comparisons between a wide range of data.
  • It uses the same web server technology we use to display various reports on the time terminals.
  • We expect release of this product the first quarter of 2009.
40
Hardware Requirements
  • All software is written to run on the Windows operating systems, Windows 2000 or higher.
  • We use existing facility networking resources and can install all required databases on a facility server for easy backup.
  • We can either provide a dedicated IT-3000 terminal for our time and attendance terminals or we can install the software on an existing PC adding a SoftClock function to that PC.
  • All software is easily installed over the internet making system installation and rollout quick and easy.
41
Training
  • Training is available either on-site or via the web.
  • Web training is completed in 1-hour blocks that covers individual portions of the software over a 2-week period.
  • The advantage of web based training is that the customer is not flooded with information and it can be scheduled around their work requirements.
  • On-Site training is a one-day training session that covers all aspect of the software.  At the end of that period, follow-on support is provided as part of the annual maintenance agreement.
42
Product Support and Maintenance
  • There is a required annual maintenance agreement.
  • This provides the user with 24/7 access to support.
  • On-line updates are available on-demand.
  • On-site is also provided in the event a solution can not be reached either via phone or via remote access.
